Studio Policies

Please ensure you have read the preparations section of the website before booking. This is your responsibility as a client. Ensure you are following pre-care, have the necessary doctor's notes if you need them, etc. By booking an appointment with me, you are agreeing that you understand and accept that you may be turned away if you have not followed the preparations section.

DEPOSITS:
Deposits are NON-refundable. If all policies/pre-care is followed, the deposit you leave when booking goes towards your appointment.

RESCHEDULING:
Please reschedule if you are feeling sick. If you have a fever, are coughing, sneezing, sniffling, etc. PLEASE reach out to us through email (makaylabellebrows@gmail.com) to reschedule. We reserve the right to reschedule any appointment due to feeling sick. We also reserve the right to turn you away if we see you presenting symptoms of a cold/illness.

We ask that you give 48 hours notice to reschedule. We will transfer the booking fee to your rescheduled date with this appropriate amount of notice. This will be done as a one time courtesy. If you cancel within 48 hours of your first session- this will result in loss of booking fee and will require a new booking fee to secure another appointment. Please keep in mind, with our schedule being booked out about two months, any rescheduled appointment will be pushed out accordingly.

If you reschedule your touch up appointment past the 12 week mark, your touch up session will be an additional $100.

LATE POLICY:
Clients who are more than ten minutes late for their first session, or their touch up session, will have to be rescheduled. Please keep in mind, with our calendars being booked out, any rescheduled appointment will be pushed out accordingly.

NO-CALL-NO-SHOW:
If you no-show your appointment, the card on file will be charged 50% of the remaining balance. We do not tolerate no-shows; you will be banned from booking in the future.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:
If there is inclement weather, typically we will reach out directly, but please call or email if you would like to reschedule. We reserve the right to reschedule due to any inclement weather.

TOUCH UPS:
Any touch up that is six months after your last session, would be considered an annual session.

GENERAL POLICIES:
As a client, you need to trust the process. Everyone's skin is different. You may leave the studio swollen, uneven due to swelling, red, and tender. This is normal. True color/shape will not be fully healed for 45-60 days after your initial session. You will go through multiple stages during your healing. We will explain to you your aftercare and it is your responsibility to follow it.

Please ensure that you are reading the aftercare portion of this website. Aftercare is NOT a suggestion- you need to follow proper aftercare for good results.

If you book a specific service, and we give you our professional recommendation against receiving this service (ie. microblading) due to your skin health, skin type, lifestyle, health concerns, etc. you may choose to stop the appointment. We will not under any circumstance microblade/perform PMU on a client who is not qualified to receive it. PLEASE be prepared for your appointment. We are not responsible if you choose to back out of the service because of our professional advice.

There are NO guarantees for healed results. Skin is a living organism and each individual's skin is vastly different. There are many factors that contribute to a person's healed results. Please read through the "preparations" section of my website to see if permanent makeup is right for you and your lifestyle. If you would like to schedule a third session, we can absolutely do so! Please reach out to me through email to make that appointment. Third sessions will be an additional $150, and need to be done 6-8 weeks after second session.

Clients with previous work (cover-ups):
All clients with previous work MUST send in clear photos of the brows/lips to makaylabellebrows@gmail.com to be approved.
It is important that we can see the saturation, color, and depth of the previous work to ensure I can work over top and provide you with a successful service. Cover-ups will be required to pay an additional $50. We do not do 'touch-ups' on other artist's work. Any cover-up work would be considered a new service with me.
If you fail to send photos before arriving to your session, and we are unable to cover your previous work- you will lose your deposit.
There is also the option of removal services that we can discuss, if your previous work is too saturated, uneven, etc. If you show up to your appointment with previous work and have not submitted photos for approval, you will forfeit your booking fee if they are not a candidate for a successful coverup.
